Register to join LPAPA Signature Artist Dan Mondloch for this creative and unique fun filled approach to watercolor painting in this 2-Part Virtual Plein Air Painting Workshop focused on "Expressive Landscapes in Watercolor Using the Damp Paper Method", Monday January 26th and Tuesday January 27th; 10:00 am - 12:30 PDT. The live-streamed workshop will include 2 online sessions focused on exploring the freedom and creativity of watercolor through the damp paper approach. Unlimited access to the session recordings included.
In this step-by-step live online workshop, you'll learn to wet the front and back of your paper for a longer "open time", allowing you to blend colors, achieve soft edges, and create beautiful textures. During each session, Dan will guide you simplifying complex scenes into large shapes of value and color, building your confidence and skills to paint with expressive brushwork and bold color. With demonstrations and exercises, you'll discover how to communicate through the visual language of watercolor painting while gaining satisfying and dynamic results.
Students will be provided with reference photos and materials list to follow along during the sessions, as well as unlimited access to the lesson recordings to use and rewatch to create their own paintings following the workshop.

Advance registration is required to participate in the workshop and receive the Zoom live event access link prior to the start of the first session. The deadline to register for live-stream access is 5PM PST Sunday, January 25th (evening before the live broadcast). After January 25th, you may still register to receive access to the recorded lessons.
All registrants will receive a private link providing exclusive access to rewatch the recording after the live-streamed workshop. The lessons are expected to be 2 and 1/2 hours but could run over.
