LPAPA+LOCA Painting Demo with Jeff Sewell
The Golden Hour in Laguna Beach, California

Register to join LPAPA Signature Artist Jeff Sewell in Laguna Beach as he demonstrates his technique for painting the Golden Hour along the iconic Laguna Beach Coastline using water-mixable oils. The specific location and details will be provided in the emailed registration confirmation.
LPAPA & LOCA invite you to join Jeff for this fun and informative plein air painting learning experience as he demonstrates his painting his techniques for capturing the golden hour of light. Come to watch Jeff's painting demo with Q&As during and after the demo. Registrants are encouraged to bring their own painting gear to "jump in" to paint on your own after the demo for uninstructed practice of the techniques Jeff shared. This is a great opportunity to learn from an award-winning LPAPA Signature Artist and meet LPAPA and LOCA members. This painting demo is open to LPAPA Members, LOCA Members, and Non-Members; painters at all experience levels welcome (as well as non-painters!).
Following the Demo the group is invited to meet up at the LPAPA Gallery for a tour and reception where Jeff will take you through "For the Love of the Sea" Gallery show inspired by the Laguna Art Museum's exhibition of works by historical artist Frank Cuprien.
Registration Fee: $40.00 for LPAPA & LOCA Members; $50 for Non-Members
(advance registration required; limited to 20 registrants).

Please register no later than 5:00PM, Wednesday April 29th, 2026 (the day before the event), to allow us time to email details and assure your name will be added to the attendance list in time for the morning checkin.
When registering, LPAPA Members need to log in to receive the discounted Member price; please contact Bonnie@lpapa.org if you need assistance registering. LOCA Members need to have a current LOCA membership to receive the discounted fee.
Your participation and support is appreciated! This program is offered as part of an education collaboration with LPAPA and LOCA, and supported with Grant Funding from the City of Laguna Beach.
