Bringing Paintings to Life with Michele Usibelli
April 27 & 28 and May 4, 2021; 10AM - 12NOON PST

LPAPA Signature Artist Michele Usibelli leads an online 3-Session Virtual Plein Air Painting Workshop that will be an intense and fun live-streamed experience that will focus on "Bringing Paintings to Life!". The live-streamed classes will be Zoom hosted and include 2 classes focused on pre-recorded plein air painting demonstrations by Michele with Michele talking through the demo live, explaining her process, palette and answering your questions. Painting scenes will include an urban and a marina view, of which photo references will be provided. Each session will include an abbreviated lecture on the fundamentals of sound painting, including a discussion of drawing, value, design and color, plus live Q&As. Students will be provided with photos and lesson recordings to create their own paintings to submit for Michele's critique. The third and final lesson will focus on critiquing student's submitted work, with a live and lively discussion about the lessons learned, Q&As and a painting demo if time allows. Participants will receive exclusive unlimited access to all lesson recordings. 

Michele's workshops are very popular and don’t end with the last day of class, she makes herself available to all of her students for critiques and feedback on an ongoing basis long after the workshop is over.
Registration fees are $265.00 for LPAPA Members; $295.00 for Non-Members.

Payment In Full In Advance Only
Advance registration is required to participate in the workshop and receive the Zoom live event access link. The deadline to register for live-stream access is 10AM PST Monday, April 26th (or 24-hours prior to any live broadcast). After the 26th, you may still register to receive access to the recorded lessons, and future lessons that have not yet broadcast.

All registrants will receive a private link giving them exclusive access to rewatch the recording after the live event. The lessons are expected to be 2 hours but could run over.

Members must Login when registering to receive the member discount price (plus members receive a $5 LPAPA Loyalty Reward!).

Registration fees are not refundable unless the event is cancelled by LPAPA.
